Walk of Remembrance by Hampstead's Public Security

This walk is intended to raise funds in equal parts for two organizations around Montreal : Suicide Action Montreal and the operational stress injury (OSI) clinic located at Ste. Anne’s Hospital.

The Remembrance walk is an approximatively 35km. It will start on 2020/11/02 at the Hampstead Cenotaph and War Memorial in Hampstead Park (Town of Hampstead), and will end at the operational stress injury clinic in Saint-Anne's Hospital (Saint-Anne de Bellevue). A starting ceremony will be held from 10h00 to 11h00 on the day of the event. We invite you to join us at 10h00 at 30, chemin Lyncroft, Hampstead, H3X 3E5.

Initiated by active and retired Canadian Armed Forces veterans as well as Public Security Service members of the Town of Hampstead, the event has the objective of reminding everybody; civilians, active members, veterans and first responders that you are never alone with your difficulties. Furthermore, Royal Montreal Regiment and Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 14) members will join us in either participating or supporting this event.

This walk has the goal of raising funds that will go to both organizations mentioned above to help them in their mission to provide crucial services to people with multiple mental health difficulties.

We ask for your support to help us achieve our goal of raising 3000$, and we thank you for your time and generosity.
