Earth Hour: Saturday, March 24

The 11th annual Earth Hour takes place Saturday, March 24, from 8:30 – 9:30 pm.

Last year, Earth Hour grew to become the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment, mobilizing hundreds of millions of people to call for action on climate change. The Town of Hampstead will be joining this worldwide movement for the 11th straight year by shutting down all non-essential lighting at municipal facilities.

Shine a light on climate change. Turn off your lights and turn on your social power.

We encourage all residents to take a stand on climate change by turning off their lights during Earth Hour.
